Iron Tide Command
★★★★☆ 4.4
Iron Tide Command is a compact RTS built for touchscreens. You manage resources, place defensive structures, and command small squads across bite-sized maps. The developers clearly thought about fingers instead of a mouse, because unit selection and orders feel precise even during a chaotic wave.
Each level throws a new wrinkle at you, from fog that hides approaching enemies to timed objectives that force aggressive play. I liked that hoarding never works for long; the game keeps nudging you to spend and expand.
It gets tough around the mid-game, and a couple of missions took me several tries. But the checkpoints are fair, and cracking a hard level with a clever wall layout is deeply satisfying.
What we liked
- Touch controls that actually work for RTS
- Varied mission twists
- Fair, retry-friendly difficulty
